Chlorophyll helps to improve digestion, which is often the cause of bad breath, even for dogs with healthy teeth and gums. While the parsley and mint are refreshing by themselves, they also contain chlorophyll. The extra boost from the capsules makes this treat an excellent solution for keeping those doggie kisses free from funk.
Frozen Dog Breath Mints
Freshen your furry friends’ breath from the inside out! These yummy frozen treats contain parsley, mint, and chlorophyll to help combat and prevent bad breath.
Equipment/Supplies
- Silicone molds or ice cube trays
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup bone broth unsalted and unseasoned (or water)
- 1/2 cup mint, fresh (or 2.5 tablespoons dried)
- 1/2 cup parsley, fresh (or 2.5 tablespoons dried)
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt (use plant-based yogurt to make vegan)
- 2 capsules chlorophyll 100mg
- 2 tablespoons almond butter natural
- 2 tablespoons honey optional
Instructions
- Place ice cube trays or molds onto cookie sheet for stability and transport.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until smooth.
- Evenly distribute the mixture into your molds.
- Freeze until hard set, about 3-4 hours.
